At Ashness Bridge

At Ashness Bridge, Keswick today with a picture taken by Lizzi showing me with Sammy and Andrew having a great time taking in the view, enjoying the butterflies and birds, but above all each other’s company. We took Molly and Smudgy  with us and they had a ball, attracting lots of adoring attention particulary in the dog friendly “Dog and Gun” pub in town. By the time we got there we were starving and the sweet potato curry and Hungarian goulash went down extremely well. When the internal and external world is in turmoil how wonderful to share valuable time with our daughter and her smashing husband-to-be, in such a stunning part of the world. Lucky – you bet!!

Left with the use of my left arm/hand only, after a serious motor cycle accident in 2005, I am learning to adapt to life with a brachial plexus injury and have developed a style of playing guitar using open tunings. I love drawing, painting and generally messing around in a fairly loose fashion. Can't describe myself as an artist, but perhaps a doodler with intent.
