There’s a wind of change blowing through the world. The seasons are all topsy turvy with the rain pelting down in July to an accompaniment of surprised exclamation. “Would you believe it?” we all say – or words to that effect. The weather can’t be ruled and we have to accept it. Bob Dylan sings his big heart in the backwoods of Kent with a performance that mesmorizes and mystifies. He sings about thunder (Thunder on the Mountain), rain (A Hard Rain’s a Gonna Fall) and water (High Water). His songs appear at once both backward looking and prophetic. Something’s about to happen for sure.
Left with the use of my left arm/hand only, after a serious motor cycle accident in 2005, I am learning to adapt to life with a brachial plexus injury and have developed a style of playing guitar using open tunings. I love drawing, painting and generally messing around in a fairly loose fashion. Can't describe myself as an artist, but perhaps a doodler with intent. View all posts by keithfitton
